Servo Motor is a synchronous motor (Permanent Magnet Motor). Torque remains constant up to a rated speed of the motor. It has been used in high position accuracy & constant torque required applications.

Therefore, AC servo motor and AC servo control systems have become the basic techniques for accomplishing automation control technology in the current industry field.
